In October of 1990, I reserved the services of a local DJ to DJ a Halloween Dance for St. Joseph's Parish youth group.  The dance was scheduled for a Sunday evening beginning at 5:30 pm.  The DJ called that same Sunday and cancelled leaving us with no DJ.  Instead of cancelling the dance, I combined two home stereo systems and DJ'd the dance myself.  By the end of the night Trax Mix was born!  From that one Halloween Dance, I booked gigs for graduation the following summer where I was able to book a few weddings. Each event I did, I got more and more gigs and to this date-(20 years later) I have not had a single complaint!  I have DJ'd weddings, graduation parties, quinceneras & just about any event you can plan-I have done it all!
